Vivek has been a serial entrepreneur having been involved in creating new business opportunities in his long career spanning over 20 years and has been active in Health care, Software and Steel related CAD/CAM Services both in India and United States.
Around 1980, Vivek pioneered the implementation of “state of the art” healthcare infrastructure incorporating the best of breed products and solutions from USA and Western Europe as well as the grass-root education of healthcare professional to imbibe best practices in the field.
Following that, he was instrumental in setting up the software supply center for Philips Electronics, a major Consumer Electronics Manufacturer, in the first wave of software subsidiaries of Fortune 500 corporations.
At Diode, he has gone on to repeat the software business model for Steel detailing in which the best in class supply capability for engineering detailing is made available to US engineering houses sourced from around the world at an affordable cost.
Naresh has a long career in complex project management involving fabrication, engineering and commissioning of systems, especially in steel, cement and power industry. He had long stints in prestigious companies such as Voltas India. Subsequently, he has created design teams from scratch for steel detailing business in India and has met some very strict timelines and cost performance in the face of some very prestigious competition.
In the short period of 4 years with Diode, he has successfully commissioned over 50 projects for diverse US customers. He runs the operations of Diode Technologies, both in US and India.
Naresh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Before joining Diode to incorporate the software business unit, Rajeev spent over 20 years at Philips Electronics of the Netherlands where he grew to become a Group Vice President.
After finishing his master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from The Netherlands, Rajeev has been in the software discipline all his life. His key assignments have included being the Chief Information officer of the prestigious Television business in Philips and the CTO of Emerging multimedia/wireless centric businesses.
He set up the Philips software entity in Bangalore, India in 1996, as the Founder and CEO, which he managed for 3 years before returning to the corporate headquarters in The Netherlands as the Chief Technology Officer of the Philips Set-top Box division.
Rajeev is a certified TQM/EFQM auditor.
Chengappa has been a Senior Management Executive with more than 20 years of successful strategic business planning, financial & corporate leadership experience conceptualizing ideas, seizing opportunities, building operations, leading highly successful new business development initiatives, managing sales & marketing. Ability to perceive opportunities and to penetrate new markets. Recognized talent for developing and implementing strategies to propel an organization to a position of leadership within its respective market and simultaneously achieve corporate goals.
Chengappa started his career in 1982 as an Operations Analyst for Vikrant Tyres Ltd in India.
From 1986 through 1995, he worked as Senior Executive for Sales & Marketing in Maruti Udyog Ltd of India, (a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Company) the largest automobile maker in India. He was responsible for analyzing the business and sales operations of the company and designing changes and improvements in business strategies and sales. He was also with the start up team for export operations between 1991 and 1993.
From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Chengappa worked in the U.A.E. for the Al-Rostamani Group as Branch Manager with responsibility for commercial management of branch operations.
From September 2000 to September 2006, Mr. Chengappa has been the Commercial Manager of The Kanoo Group of the U.A.E. He was responsible for completely restructuring the divisional sales operations, analyzed existing methods, and developed new systems, policies and procedures to re-direct divisional operation and effected turnaround within first 2 year. His regional responsibilities included Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
Chengappa holds a bachelors degree in commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Universities in India.
